Meet Rita Liu — Certified Family Law Specialist
Rita Liu is the driving force behind our family law practice. A graduate of UC Irvine and Western State University College of Law, Rita has devoted her career exclusively to family law and has earned her Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) designation from the State Bar of California — a distinction held by only a small percentage of California attorneys.
Rita brings a rare combination of courtroom strength and genuine compassion to every case she handles. She understands firsthand that divorce, custody battles, and support disputes aren’t just legal matters — they’re deeply personal, often painful, and life-changing. That’s why she takes the time to understand each client’s unique situation and crafts a legal strategy tailored specifically to their needs and goals.
Rita is an active member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS), the Orange County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association. She is also conversational in Mandarin Chinese, extending compassionate representation to a wider community of clients throughout Orange County.
